Alexander Cabrera is the Chairman Emeritus of PwC Philippines effective 1 July 2021, after being the firm’s Chairman and Senior Partner for two consecutive terms.

He is an expert in tax planning, business restructuring and reorganizations, and integrated tax, legal, and accounting assistance. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. He studied business at IESE Business School, Harvard Business School, and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

He is Cabrera & Company's managing partner. In addition, Alex served on the board of PwC's Southeast Asia Regional Consulting division. Alex serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of ARISE-Philippines, an NGO that focuses on disaster risk management, and Chairman of Integrity Initiative Inc. (II, Inc.). Previously, he served as the chair of the Tax Committee of the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) and the Taxation and Legislation Committee of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). Alex has won the 2019 Asia Leaders Awards CEO of the Year. He was awarded the PICPA Young Achiever in Public Practice Award in 1998 as well as the Outstanding CPA in Public Practice Award in 2015. His "As easy as ABC" Sunday column in the Philippine Star has had three finalist appearances at the Catholic Mass Media Awards.
