Alex is both a CPA and a lawyer by profession and has over 25 years of financial audit, business advisory and tax consultancy experience. He has extensive experience in providing due diligence and handling tax assessment cases for clients, which involve preparation of position papers and representation with government officials.

He is involved in providing advisory services to foreign and local investors on matters relevant to doing business in the Philippines such as investment opportunities, investment policies and rules, incentives available, among others.
He also does corporate work, including setting up a company, increase in capitalization, merger and consolidations, and retirement of business.

Alex also performs tax consulting and planning, tax compliance review, tailoring of tax seminars for clients, formulation of tax training programs, and consultation on labor and immigration issues.

As the tax practice leader, Alex's expertise includes due diligence reviews and in-depth tax audits in the financial services, real estate, and oil and gas sectors.
